The Philippine Association of Chemistry Students, Inc., PACS, Inc., will once again prove its prowess in honing future scientists as it gathers high school students nationwide through this year's Junior Chemistry Congress, with the  theme, “Activate: Igniting the Spark within Young Filipino Scientists Through Chemical Knowledge," on November 13-14.

The Junior Chemistry Congress (JCC), is the largest annual national chemistry congress aimed for high school students in the country, which is  an avenue to promote Chemistry and other related fields as a college degree program for high school students and introduce career opportunities in the field.

Junior Chemistry Congress 2021 will cater three sub-events, PACSymposium, TumPACS, PACSiyensya, that will fortify the ideas, skills, and critical-thinking of the students, and ignite their passion in chemistry.

PACSymposium is a webinar, consisting of jumpacked talks, knowledge and workshops from different fields related to chemistry spearheaded by professionals.

TumPACS is the event for short informative videos and memes that will test the creativity and knowledge of high school students in different topics in the field of chemistry.

PACSiyensya is a science investigatory project competition that serves as a platform to parade their innovative scientific papers, their relevance, and conclusions.

The annual gathering attracted around 350 chemistry enthusiasts last year with a theme, JCC: Catalysis, which was participated by six (6) different institution, DOST Integrated School, Science and Arts Academy, Louis Palad Integrated High School, Meycauyan National High School, University of Perpetual Help System, Araullo High School.

With 21 organizations and 2 media partners, the PACS Inc. is in high hopes to widen its reach in spreading the chemical knowledge throughout the country this year.
