Kris Aquino Shares #TheKrisList: A Video Series About New Experience

The Philippine Queen of All Media Kris Aquino recently launched her newest video series dubbed as "The Kris List," a series of web videos regarding her personal list of new experiences, looking at them with with fresh eyes. The webisodes features the host in her most authentic self and showcases her primary interest which are family, food, travel and people.

The first three web episodes about Calligraphy, Camping with Bimb, and Cooking Laing was uploaded on Mother's Day. It's just two days ago but the three videos already accumulated more than one million views. So far the most viewed is the Episode 2, the "Camping" episode with her son which is really relatable for most moms. It's now at 419,000+ views in just almost 48 hours. After television, the Queen of All Media is now conquering online! Looks like people are still interested in what Kris Aquino is up to and what's the latest about her. At 3 million followers, The host is also one of the most followed Filipina celebrities on Instagram.

Episode 1: Calligraphy

This is my favorite among all three webisodes. I love the quality and texture of the video, it looks fresh and dainty. I've watched her other uploaded videos before and this one looks different. I dunno if he got a different digital team this time. If you would see my Instagram (@JayL_Aquino) I love posting quotes using exquisite cursive fonts it almost look like calligraphy so video really got me interested in learning calligraphy. "I'm not a patient person, but calligraphy taught me that if you want something to turn out beautiful, you have to give it time. You have to have patience and you have to go with the flow of the strokes." shares Kris Aquino.

Episode 2: Camping

My mom is a big fan of Kris Aquino, before going to work I would often see her watching Kris TV early in the morning. So when I saw this episode I'm quite surprised that Bimby is all grown up now. Actually, my first reaction on this video is  "What a nice aerial shot on that Petron gas station" ;-) I really want to buy my own drone with a camera so I'm always fascinated in aerial shots. #TheKrisList Episode 2 is perfect on Mother's Day as Kris Aquino says “Basta nakita mong maligaya ang anak mo, gagawin mo talaga ang lahat.” Which is so true. Mother's love is endless and unconditional. It's nice to see Bimby grew up as a good boy and a loving son to her mom. "For me it was tough, but seeing my son smile made it all worth it." the actress confides.

Episode 3: Laing

Food is such a big part of Kris Aquino's life, she said it's impossible to do The Kris List without her going to the kitchen. In this episode, she seeks the help of a good friend in cooking this Bicolano favorite. It's also surprising to know that aside from fashion designing Avel Bacudio is also a "laing" expert. a Filipino favorite from Bicol, Laing is made with dried gabi leaves, coconut milk, pork and chilis.

I liked how the three videos was made and I'm really looking forward for more educational videos from Kris Aquino soon. It's also interesting to note that the videos has advertisement and product placement in a subtle way, which I liked. I normally skip blatant advertisement on Facebook videos.

This new series is a welcome surprise for all Kris Aquino fans especially my mom since she likes watching and rewatching KrisTV episodes on Youtube. Now we will have another digital channel where we can anticipate informational videos where we can learn a thing or two. Be sure to like and follow Kris Aquino on her Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/RealKrisAquino for more upcoming videos.

  1. I'm really inspired along with your writing abilities and also with the structure for your weblog. Is this a paid subject or did you modify it your self? Either way keep up the nice high quality writing, it’s rare to look a great weblog like this one these days..
