There is a Milonga (place or an event where tango is danced) held almost daily in Metro Manila. These days, no celebration seems to be complete without the hosts, the celebrant and the guests dancing the Argentine tango.
Recently in town to conduct worshops with a one-night performance were Argentine tango Masters of Salon & Milonga Sebastian Pereyra and Delia Hou, courtesy of Tango Maestro and Asia Impresario Ogie Mendoza. They are the winners in the Salon and Milonga categories for the 2010 Metropolitan Championship as well as the 2012 Mundial, Northern Argentina chapter.
The couple also graced the birthday celebration of socialite Marivie Viola at the Savannah Moon in Libis, QC with Metro Manilas milongueros, tangueras, friends and family in full attendance.
