BIGFISH's Exception Music Festival (Nov. 24) at Bonifacio Global City [UPDATED!]

Expect an eargasmic experience at the Exception Music Festival!

Hold on to your eardrums—the country’s biggest outdoor dance music festival is about to blow you away! The Philippines’ leading party provocateur Bigfish presents the first-ever Exception Music Festival, happening on November 24, 2012, 4PM at Bonifacio Global City. With a total of 27 acts set to seize the stage, Exception is the country’s most massive outdoor dance music gathering to date. Grammy-nominated American beatmaster BT leads the pack of performers, which includes some of the hottest foreign and local DJs and bands.

This major musical congregation will house three stages to accommodate its spectacular lineup. The Freedom Music-sponsored main stage will boast both icons and up-and-comers in the international EDM scene, including BT; UK-based electro pros Andy Moor, James Zabiela, and Mat Zo; Dutch trance duo W&W; and energetic Australian act Tydi. Also hitting the main stage are local electronic music stalwarts Martin Pulgar, Marie Garcia, and Bigfish resident DJ John Paul Lee.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Sound tent will be a hotbed of house music awesomeness as it plays host to Switzerland-based Italian maestroEDX, Hed Kandi’s resident DJ Stuart Ojelay and saxophonist Aimee Jay, as well as the country’s own formidable mixmasters Alinep, Pav Parotte, Jack Stone, Marc Naval, Manolet Santos, Karl Ty, and Bigfish resident DJ Chris Raeuber.

At Exception, there’s even a stage to offer festival-goers a full band experience! Head to the live stage to catch some of the country’s biggest bands, such as Pinoy alternative rockers Parokya ni Edgar, Sandwich, 6 Cycle Mind, and Imago; dance-punk five-piece Pedicab; dancetronica trio Techy Romantics; plus a teamup between DJ Elmer Dado and percussionists Gruppo Tribale.

Festival-goers are free to hop from stage to stage and soak in the spectrum of sounds on display—from high-flying trance to pulse-pounding house to hard-hitting rock. Team Exception or EMF will pull out all the stops to make the experience as reveler-friendly as possible: credit card payments will be accepted, an ATM will be on the premises, cell phone charging stations will keep guests connected, food and drinks booths with several international food brands to satisfy your cravings will be available throughout the sonic spectacle.

festival merchandise will be available for sale to let you bring home more than great memories. Make sure to come in comfy clothes so you can let loose and enjoy this EDM extravaganza to the hilt!
