Decathlon PH Opens Manila’s Biggest Playground at Ayala Malls Manila Bay
The new store reflects Decathlon’s commitment to making sports and wellbeing more accessible to Filipino communities through innovative, high-quality, and affordable sporting gear.
Hathaipat Theintangpiriya, CEO of Decathlon Philippines, shared the company’s vision for continued growth and community impact.
“This isn’t just a store; Decathlon is Manila’s biggest playground. But we aren’t stopping here, with many more projects already in the works. Malayo na, pero malayo pa ang mararating natin.”
Following the Ayala Manila Bay opening, Decathlon is set to expand further with upcoming stores in Nuvali, Makati, Cavite, and Davao, bringing the brand’s sports offerings closer to more Filipinos nationwide.
The Ayala Malls Manila Bay branch also introduces the first 100% modernized Decathlon City Store in the Philippines, designed to create a more immersive and community-centered shopping experience.
Ila Hebron, Store Manager of Decathlon Ayala Malls Manila Bay, expressed excitement over the launch and its significance for the local community.
“We once dreamed of creating a prime destination where sport and wellbeing could be accessible in the metro — a place where the community in Aseana City and Parañaque could connect, play, and experience the joy of movement. Today, that dream is finally here.”
Decathlon Ayala Malls Manila Bay features more than 5,000 products across over 70 sports categories, offering athletes of all levels access to a wide range of equipment and apparel under one roof.
As part of its continued commitment to promoting active lifestyles, Decathlon Philippines will also celebrate its 9th anniversary with a flagship running event on August 30, 2026, at the Mall of Asia. The event will feature 5KM, 10KM, and 21KM race categories and is open to runners and fitness enthusiasts of all skill levels. Registration details will be announced soon.
