It has been one hell of a party last October 12 at the Top Shelf, Fullybooked as both media and our very own rock artists converged and celebrated the launch of this year’s highly-anticipated album of a supergroup called SUPERHEAVY (composed of members Mick Jagger, Dave Stewart, Joss Stone, A.R. Rahman and Damien Marley).
Hosted by Francis Brew of Dig Radio, aside from giving everyone a glimpse of what SuperHeavy is all about with footages taken from the band’s in-the-studio rehearsals and press listening party held in New York a few weeks ago, the event also became a showcase of MCA Music’s iconic rock groups’ anniversary releases with the exclusive screening of rare interview footages, live clips and trailers of Nirvana’s “Nevermind”, Sonic Youth’s “1991: The Year Punk Broke”, Sting’s “25 Years’ and U2’s “Achtung Baby” anniversary deluxe and box set edition albums! As a teaser to these upcoming releases under MCA Music, Fullybooked gave a 50% off to all those who have pre-ordered the albums that night!

Graced by the presence of MCA Music’s artists such as Hijo, Tanya Markova, Pedicab and Johnny Allegre as well as Red Horse Beer’s talents led by the country’s legendary rock icon Pepe Smith, people feasted not just over Red Horse beer and delicious Mexican food by Agave Cantina but also over these artists as they energetically mingled with the crowd. Highlighting the night was the raffle draw of Stagg guitars courtesy of Music Source.
This event marked the beginning of a string of rock events that MCA Music plans to give.
