Since my BayanDSL is down up to now and my SmartBRO USB stick is slower than dial-up, I opt to use my kuya's Globe Tattoo and it didn't disappoint me. It was fast and it was continuous unlike SmartBRO who keeps on disconnecting repeatedly. I will never recommend their service to anyone. It's super slow, it can't even load a single webpage and when you refresh the page it's either the page will display an error or it will display nothing. I think I need to write another post for that :)
Globe Tattoo on the other hand is excellent, they're so fast not just on midnight. It's even faster than my BayanDSL, considering that's already 'wired' and this one is wireless. They're the answer to my prayer! :] Someone told me that the speed depend on many things, like the numbers of household using the same service on your area, if there's a lot of people using it. it will be congested so the internet speed will be painstakingly slow. So it means only a few uses Globe Tattoo in my area, lucky me!
I haven't tried Sun Broadband Wireless here so I can only compare the ISP's I used and Globe Tattoo is a runaway winner here. But here's a major let down for their service, I received this message while surfing the net:
Globe Advisory: Your account has reached 1GB in usage today. Subject to Globe Fair Use Policy, your internet service has been temporarily deactivated and will resume tomorrow. This promo is intended for moderate use. For heavy browsing, please upgrade to our Tattoo Postpaid plans. Thank you.
I already read the same things on forum but I think back then, that not all Globe users will not be affected, only those who download a lot on torrents sites. But I don't do torrents, I actually don't know how to do it. From more than a week, I only received that message twice. When I'm watching movies online, not p0rn mind you LOL.
Well I think, Globe Telecoms should announced this changes, so users will not be surprised thinking what they're using is really unlimited.
