The De La Salle University - Dasmariñas Junior Marketing Association will once again spearhead their annual Marketing Week this school year from December 5, 2022, to December 10, 2022.

This week-long celebration entitled “SWOT: Surpassing Waypoints by Optimizing Tactics in Marketing” will open five realms of FUN-tastic carnival adventures for everyone, including Achievers and fellow Marketistas. With this year’s theme, these five realms will each showcase exciting, engaging, and fun-filled activities to unveil and nurture the knowledge and talents of Marketistas.

Additionally, SWOT aims to improve students’ understanding of the various levels of marketing, enhance their competitiveness for their respective goals, and give them the opportunity to engage with professionals who are invited to Marketing Week to demonstrate different techniques and resources.

After the arrival of the carnival at the premises of the DLSU-D, SWOT will start off with Brand Activation: Achiever’s Escape, which will open up on December 5, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the De La Salle University -  Dasmariñas College of Business Administration and Accountancy Azotea. This event aims to encourage the holistic development of the Marketistas by enhancing their critical thinking skills and, at the same time, to promote the businesses of the event’s sponsors to the marketing students, where they will be given a chance to win GCash prizes through a lottery after visiting all the booths.

On the following day, the carousel’s activity will be “Outbounding: Venture into Boundless Opportunities” from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at CBAA 402 and Facebook Live. This event will help the Marketistas to choose a specialization of their own, to give a brief glimpse about Marketing Communication and Business Analytics, and let them explore the possible opportunities in the marketing field.

The third activity of the marketing week is entitled “PERSONA: A Career Fair to Perform, Socialize, and Navigate. The event is divided into two parts. Work it! - Online Career Fair will take place on December 7, from 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM via Microsoft Teams breakout rooms having company representatives as speakers for the different rooms. On the other hand, part two will be an online webinar on December 9, from 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM via Facebook live entitled “Internship 101” which talks about the things that senior students need to know for their internships in the future.

The carnival will be concluded by B2C: Bound 2 Captivate on December 10, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM via Zoom and Facebook Live. This ferris wheel themed event will also teach marketing students about the ups and downs of being a Marketer in this generation. This event aims to end the week-long event with substantial insights and knowledge about the importance of strengthening our personal development and its integral role in the Marketing industry. Additionally, to discuss the importance of setbacks in our lives, how to surpass these waypoints, the advantage of having contingency plans, and ultimately, the integral role of having a vision to attain success in the marketing field and life in general. Lastly, to know the secret behind the right mix to maintain success after surpassing the waypoints that we encounter. Thus, this webinar aims to incorporate marketing efforts such as tactics, strategies, initiatives, and action steps into real-life situations that we encounter.

All rides are set for a week-long event; be prepared and do not miss out on DLSU-D Junior Marketing Association’s carnival this year!
