October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual campaign to raise awareness about the impact of breast cancer and global lifestyle brand GUESS is joining the initiative. 10% of all purchase in-stores and online at from October 13 until October 22, 2021 will be donated to ICanServe Foundation Inc. to help raise awareness and help those who are experiencing breast cancer.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month emphasized the importance of regular self-breast examination and the critical role of screening in the early detection and treatment of breast cancer among women. Citing the 2020 data from the Global Cancer Observatory (GCO), the Philippine Department of Health said that breast cancer leads the incidence among cancer sites and it is the third leading cause of cancer deaths among Filipinos.

ICanServe Foundation, Inc., formerly Information on BreastCancer and Other Services, is a non-stock, non-profit organization that advocates early breastcancer detection through breast self-examination.
