Leon Gallery's Magnificent September Auction 2018 features breathtaking historical documents signed by Jose Rizal, Josephine Bracken, etc. Masterpieces by Fernando Amorsolo, Jose Joya, Vicente Manansala, the Fabella-Pamintuan cabinet, the Pardo de Tavera bed by Ah Tay, the ₱28M-Worth Botong Francisco Painting which is a rare piece flown in all the way from Hong Kong, and so much more!

Also featured in the September auction is the 35 artworks by eminent Filipino & international artists in partnership with Museum of Contemporary Art and Design (MCAD) of De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde’s School of Design and Arts.

MCAD is a unique institution that offers the experience of and exposure to contemporary art and its various publics, with a focus on Manila, Philippines as context. Distinct for its position as a non-collecting institution, MCAD’s contemporary art exhibitions, public programs, as well as other cultural and art-inspired undertakings showcase the possibilities of technology, new media and presents content that encourages engagement with art and culture, its practice and production, as well as its presentation and interpretation.







All funds raised from the upcoming auction will support the launch of 5 new programmatic incentives and continue the Museum of Contemporary Art and Design's ambitious exhibition program over the next three years.

The pre-auction group exhibition will open on Tuesday, 28th August 2018 from 6.00pm – 8.30pm at Corinthian Plaza, 121 Paseo De Roxas, Legaspi Village, Makati City. The exhibition will be open Tuesday to Sunday 11.00am – 7.00pm from the 29th August to the 8th September 2018.

The ‘under the hammer’ auction event will take place from 2.00pm – 6.00pm on Saturday 8th September 2018 at Leon Gallery, Eurovilla 1, Rufino corner Legazpi Street, Legazpi Village, Makati.
