One-Stop-Shop Government Service Express at SM City San Jose del Monte

SM Supermalls and the Local Government Unit recently inaugurated the Government Service Express at SM City San Jose del Monte last Monday, February 20.

The inauguration started with the celebration of the holy mass, then followed by the ribbon cutting ceremony with Congresswoman Florida Robes, City Mayor Arthur Robes,City Administrator Dennis Booth, Ph.D.,SCMC SM Supermalls President Annie Garcia and Globe MyBusiness VP for Solutions and Device Management Debbie Obias.

Following the signing of Memorandum of Agreement last year of November 10, in which the government services became closer to the public, the Government Service Express recently inauguratedat SM City San Jose del Monte to speed up the process of license and permit applications from various government offices with the comfort and convenience of the mall.

According to the Assistant City Administrator Atty. Paul S. Vega, the opening of government service center in partnership with SM and Globe, aims to provide easy access to businesses in their establishment and renewal of permits with a view of creating more business friendly climate in San Jose Del Monte.

“The only hope that with the ease in opening a business here in San Jose del Monte, and with the opening of this business permit one-stop-shop here at SM, more will come, and will generate more jobs and opportunities for our constituents.” Atty. Vega added.

Furthermore, according to Ms. Johanna Melissa N. Rupisan, SCMC AVP of Central I, the vision of the local government is very aligned with how the company bring global concepts and innovations to key cities. “We trust that in the days and years to come, SM City San Jose del Monte will be more than just a shopping center, but it will also be a reflection of our commitment to the progressive City of San Jose del Monte” Ms. Rupisan said.
