Aside from those astounding performances from Gary Valenciano, Sarah Geronimo, Itchyworms, Ebe Dancel, Callalilly, Sandwich, Jay Durias, 6 Cycle Mind, Sandwich, Wolfgang, Gloc 9, Parokya ni Edgar, Someday Dream, Rico Blanco, Never the Strangers, Sponge Cola, Chicosci and Ely Buendia, there's another highlight at the Coca-Cola Concert ng Bayan held at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds. It's CRAIG DAVID! The international R&B superstar came all the way from the other side of the globe to be part of Philippine music history and to open and share the sound of happiness across the whole nation with Coca-Cola!
This concert is a way of saying thanks to those who have remained loyal to the brand. Over the last months, through its Happiness President Caloy, Coca-Cola has reached out to the Filipinos to discover what brings them happiness and this concert party is the product of all the brilliant ideas they have shared put together. The Filipinos have co-directed this epic event with Coca-Cola and now today it’s coming to life!
A press conference of Craig David was held at the Diamond Hotel few hours before the concert. Hosted by VJ Chino of MYX and joined by top honchos from Coca-Cola.
We arrived before Craig David at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds and the organizer let us take a peek of his dressing room/waiting area :)

With this massive event, Coca-Cola hopes to remind everyone that the iconic beverage brand shall continue to give the whole nation happiness in the coming time. This is also the official kickoff party to the best Coca-Cola summer yet! Since the school season is over, Coca-Cola wants to give the Filipino youth a chance to unwind and rock out; reconnect with their peers with a refreshing bottle of Coke in hand and share the sound of happiness altogether with no less than the Philippines’ top bands and sought after performers.
Craig David performed his all time hits like “Don’t Love You No More” , “Walking Away”, “Insomnia”, “Fill Me In”, “7 Days”, “Friday Night” and “Time To Party.” I'm actually surprised that he has a lot of songs that I remember :) I'm thinking that "What's Your Flava?" is the only song of him that I know.
Indeed, there’s no better way to finally close the school season and welcome a fun-filled summertime than rocking out with an ice-cold Coke in hand! And the best part? Craig David was there to join the party!
Yet, through all the fun fare, Coca-Cola also got to remind everyone about the value of proper garbage disposal and recycling. As part of its Live Positively commitment, specially designed mesh bins were set-up in strategic locations within the venue to ensure partakers dispose off their used cups, food wrappers and other trash properly.
