Fasten your seatbelts and prepare for take off!

A 2-day webinar designed to inspire and empower its audience, Pioneer 2022: ELEVATE is the annual initiative of the UP Business Management Society (UP BMS) to increase individual knowledge and skills in the field of business management. Happening on August 27-28, 2022 with the tagline “Reinventing business norms and trends to your advantage,” the theme for this year’s Pioneer 2022: ELEVATE is all about reimagining and owning current business practices to maximize their profitability, efficiency, and adaptability, leading to greater heights for both businesses and their employees.

Three outstanding speakers will talk at the online youth conference about growing one's business to above and beyond. The session will begin with the topic Connect and Collaborate featuring the student entrepreneur and CEO of Syndrom Supply, Anton Cruz, to demonstrate the advantages of brand collaboration across industries to increase consumer reach. Continued by the Do’s of Digital Marketing featuring the growth marketer and consultant for DTS brands, Carlos Naguit, to inform and equip participants with knowledge about digital strategies for connecting with customers.

For the second day of the event, Rhens Rio Emil Guevarra, a Foundational Human Resources Leadership Program Professional from Johnson & Johnson, will discuss the pandemic's challenges of declining productivity and inadequate knowledge retention and to equip the audience with the abilities to resolve them in a hybrid work environment. In addition to the webinar, a business pitch competition will also be held to unleash the full potential and brilliant ideas of these young entrepreneurs. The objective of Mind the Product is to develop a business pitch focused on a particular industry using some of the fundamental entrepreneurial skills. Delegates who participate in the competition will have the chance to hone these skills by pitching innovative ideas to potential investors.

All senior high school students may enter the competition. Teams of three (3) students from the same school or registered members from the same organization, regardless of year level, are required for participation in the business pitch competition. The following prizes will be awarded to the participating teams with the most original and brilliant ideas:
