Few weeks ago, I tried the very first fish spa in Batangas -- Nautical Bliss Spa! This is actually my first fish spa experience and it was so fun. I'm very ticklish so I can't stay that long in the fish spa with the "doctor fishes" nibbling away the dirt on my feet. But after a few try, I got used to it and want to stay to stay longer. Did a quick Google search, and found out that this doctor fishes are called Garra rufa, originally found in the river basins of the Northern and Central Middle East.

With the tagline, "Lavish comfort you can afford," Nautical Bliss Spa is the newest spa in Batangas that offers nail care, nail art, hair waxing, hand/foot massage, whole body massage and  fish spa. Their interior is nautically-inspired,  from the ship's wheel as their logo, the dominant color of blue and white as their theme, their staffs even wears a blue sailor-like uniform! The cozy ambiance and the relaxing music will set you on the mood once you entered their establishment.


Each costumer will be given a complimentary drink --a choice of coffee, tea or juice. They also provide complimentary Wi-Fi access to the costumers who want to check & update their "status" online. This is a good news for people like me :) Fortunately their internet connection is fast so uploading Instagram photos is a breeze.

After my "session" with the doctor fishes, I tried their "Muscle Repair Massage" one of their signature massages, which is basically a 60 minutes whole body massage. I'm a huge fan of massages and I almost tried every spa in the Metro so I can say which spas are good, and which are not. Nautical Bliss Spa - Batangas is average. I enjoyed the fish spa more than the massage.


I think the main difference of Nautical Bliss Spa - Batangas compared to other spa nearby or in Metro Manila is their prices. With the place so posh, and their high end equipments & furnishings, you'll never expect that they could come up with a low price.

The Fish Spa Express is just P120.00 for an enjoying 20-minutes fish therapy while the 60-minutes whole body massage dubbed as "Muscle Repair Massage" is just P350.00. For the 90-minutes version of the same massage, that's P500.00. Definitely, bang for the buck!
