The song is the first Tagalog track Sabrina recorded after the success of her “I Love Acoustic” series albums which are certified multi-platinum in Southeast Asia. She is one of the artists aside from Christian Bautista to have successfully penetrated the region. Her current album “Acoustic Love Notes” featuring radio/ TV personality Joe D’Mango is released in the Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Korea.
“It was easy for me to own it as I recorded it for Acoustic Love Notes because it speaks of a love you once had but lost. It tells about hoping that one day, maybe someday, he or she will be back for us to have and to hold. But until that happens, we can’t help but feel like we are lost in the woods, not having that person we want the most. It hurts, and every breathe we take without them are desperate attempts to live a life without our love,” Sabrina said.
Its music video directed by Daphne Oliveros and Lloyd San Diego will premiere on MYX this August 26 at 8pm.
