It currently manages 15 mutual funds collectively called the "Sun Life Prosperity Funds."

SUNLIFE's Market Outlook for 2019

Standard & Poor's recently raised Philippines' credit ratings to BBB+ from BBB, this is a good thing for Filipinos because its now cheaper for the Philippines to borrow money. Sunlife estimates that Philippine GDP, despite weak first quarter, is 6.4% for the year 2019.

In summary, they see the dollar-peso rates as "no change" or 53.20 by year-end 2019 with a slight weak bias. Current account deficit is a less of a worry due to global slowdown. Domestically, election-related spending should provide some upside to GDP but consumption bounce will drive growth as inflation fades.
