The Rundown 2019: Critical Conversations for Future Generations

The youth today is one that strives to speak up and fight for what they believe in. They all have their own advocacies which may range from topics on politics, human rights, environment, and many others. In the same way, the youth would also want to be involved citizens as the 2019 senatorial elections approach. Many want to vote for the right people who could serve our country excellently. With that, we, now more than ever, must seek to be educated, critical, and attentive thinkers as we learn more about the aspiring leaders of the country— with The Rundown 2019.

The University of the Philippines Economics Society established The Rundown back in 2013. Ever since then, it has been a notable youth-oriented senatorial debate forum organized by the youth, for the youth. The event will be held from 4-9 pm February 28, 2019 in the GT Toyota Asian Center in the University of the Philippines Diliman.

The Rundown 2019 serves as a platform for senatorial candidates to interact with the youth. Ultimately, it educates and empowers young voters. Remember that the youth has the power to spark a change. And to do so, the youth has an obligation to choose genuine leaders who are willing and capable to help our country evolve into being a better society.
