Bea Binene Produced an Indie Film About Climate Change

After her TV series Mulawin vs Ravena, Kapuso actress Bea Binene is now busy on an advocacy film entitled "Fading Paradise" that she also produced. The film speaks to the heart and talks about the environment and climate change. The movie is one of the featured film in this year's QCinema International Film Festival.

In the movie, Bea and her friends prepares to take a trip to Bicol where she and her best friend grew up. They go to an island that seems like a miracle of nature. However, they learn that the island has become the focus of man's greed and capitalism.

The film, directed by Aurel Ayson, also stars Krystal Reyes, Kenneth Paul Cruz, Coleen Perez, Mark Castillo, Angelo Serna, with the special participation of Alma Moreno. Fading Paradise was rated GP (General Patronage) by the Movie And Television Review And Classification Board.

"Through this film, we hope to raise awareness on the state of the environment, particularly in relation to the country's virgin island" said the Kapuso actress. "Ang target po ng pelikulang ito ay maipalabas sa mga schools at mapanood ng mga estudyante para mas aware sila sa kung anong nangyayari and kung anong damage ang nangyayari kay Mother Earth." Bea Binene added.
