Hair-Raising Shows on AXN Beyond this November 2011

Get ready as AXN Beyond kicks-off November with an astonishing line-up of shows for viewers!

Prepare to be blown away by awesome hairdos in HAIR BATTLE SPECTACULAR, a competition reality series that pits ten of America's hottest stylists against each other to see who can deliver the biggest and best in fantasy hair design. Part sculpture and part pop art, each challenge will require the stylists to create outrageous hair designs that resemble everything from multilayer wedding cakes to toys with moveable pieces.

In addition to spectacular blow-by-blow drama on the hair battle runway, there is also the day-to-day drama between the cohabitating stylists who fight each week to stay in the battle and win the ultimate prize of $100,000. Catch Hair Battle Spectacular from Tuesdays to Fridays at 8:10 PM, with the series premiere on November 8, 2011 (Tuesday).

Join the continuing journey of Christina Hawthorne (Jada Pinkett Smith) in the powerful third season of HAWTHORNE, every Friday at 10:40 PM beginning November 4, 2011 (Friday) at 10:40 PM on Beyond. Juggling both family and career, recently-widowed nursing director and mother of a teenage girl, Christina struggles in a battle between bureaucratic administrators, heartless doctors, and apathetic colleagues who are caught up in a system that’s forgotten whom it’s there to serve.

In this season, the very pregnant Christina prepares to walk down the aisle with Dr. Tom Wakefield (Michael Vartan) but their joy will be interrupted by a series of unfortunate incidents that will challenge Christina both physically and emotionally. At the same time, her former flame, Detective Nick Renata (Marc Anthony), returns and complicates Christina's life when he is called in to investigate a brutal attack in the hospital’s parking deck. Meanwhile, Tom takes on a new protégé (guest star Derek Luke) who catches her daughter Camille's eye.
