PLUG INTO THE SUN: Use Solar Power!

I'm elated that currently, more and more people are into preserving our environment, thanks to the concentrated efforts of corporations, organizations, media, and the people who use their social media power to spread the good word. One way of preserving or more efficient way to help Mother Nature is to use solar power technology. Solar PV (photovoltaics) technology is a simple and effective form of renewable energy that we can use at home! The said system collects energy from the sun to generate electricity, which can then be used to power a portion of our houses or even office!

Typically seen on rooftops, solar panels collect DC power and send it to an inverter which then converts it into AC (alternating current) power. The AC power goes from the inverter to the electrical panel, where it now becomes ready to use. Once the solar system produces more power than needed, the meter actually spins backwards. The solar panel can be used as a component of a larger photovoltaic system to generate and supply electricity in commercial and residential applications. Each panel is rated by its DC output power under standard test conditions, and typically ranges from 100 to 320 watts. The efficiency of a panel determines the area of a panel given the same rated output - an 8% efficient 230 watt panel will have twice the area of a 16% efficient 230 watt panel.

Green Heat International, a Filipino-owned business engaged in the design, installation, and maintenance of solar PV systems, has the right technology, expertise as well as experience to do the job right. They've been part of numerous large scale projects here in the Philippines such as the ADB solar power plant, the Rural Electrification of the Philippine government, etc.

Green Heat uses state-of-the-art silicon-powered technology: which is dubbed as the world's most dependable solar technology. With over 40 years of demonstrated field performance, silicon modules have continued to outlast and outperform other solar technologies. GH’s panels also features “Enhanced weak light performance,” where the solar glass ensure that the panels perform well under real world, low light conditions. According to recent studies, GH’s panels are also low-maintenance since they have “self cleaning” technology where a special layer in the high quality solar glass of the modules causes water to run off more quickly, thereby enabling the glass to clean itself of dust and dirt.
