Demonic Heads

Huge demonic heads carved into a rock near the village of Želizy. Persons with empty eyes, reaching 30 meters in height, were created in the mid-1800s. by the Czech sculptor VáclavLevý. The heads are decorated with carvings based on Czech fairy tales, in the rock are also carved artificial caves. If you want to feel the atmosphere of the ancient Czech Republic and its folklore, then you must definitely visit this place. Bar-Plane In a Quiet Part of Olomouc

"The Brno Crypt"

During the archaeological excavations in Brno, under one of the central squares of the city, named in memory of St. Yakub, 50,000 neatly folded skeletons were found. More bones can be found only in the Paris catacombs. According to the calculations of scientists, there are fewer bones in famous Crypt in Kutnaya mountain. If you like thrill and are not afraid of the corpses rising from the graves, you'll like it there.

Hotel "Yeshted"

The retro-futuristic hotel "Yeshted" was built on the top of the 100-meter-high Yeshted (Ještěd) mountain by the architect Karl Gubachkov. The hotel is located inside a television tower, the base of which resembles a hyperboloid. You can enjoy one of the most beautiful species in the whole of the Czech Republic from the top of this place. Farm In the Form Of a Huge Nest Of Stork

Not long ago, the specialists of the SGL Project design studio were invited to renovate the old farm in the Olbramovice area. On arrival, they found that storks nest in the chimney of the old manor. There were so many birds that the designers decided to build a riding arena in the form of a giant nest. Inside are also arranged various entertainment events.

Astronomical Clock in the Style of Communism

In the main square of Olomouc, like in Prague, an Astronomical clock is installed. The Olomouc chimes appeared only a decade after Prague one. However, if during World War II its monuments could be preserved almost intact, then the Nazis opened fire in the Olomouc Astronomical clock in 1945. After the war the clock was reconstructed in the style of socialist realism. Instead of figures of saints and kings on the facade, now there appear the fugues of farmers, athletes, workers of factories, and on the special calendar are marked the dates of the death of Stalin and Gottwald.

Reserve "Czech Paradise"

In the north of the Czech Republic, not far from the town of Turnov, there is a protected area, the reserve "Czech Paradise", completely corresponding to its name. On the territory of the first Czech reserve there are many different castles, covered with forests of mountains and hills, from where one of the most beautiful species of Czech Republic opens in all its greatness.
