SM Marilao and SM Valenzuela's Joint Tactical Inspection (JTI)


SM’s COMMITMENT FOR EXCELENCE. Through a Joint Tactical Inspection, SM Supermalls aim to motivate the security unit to be efficient front liners of the mall and give 100% customer satisfaction on the services they provide. SM City Marilao and SM Supercenter Valenzuela merged in this activity to achieve this endeavor. In the photo is SM’s Senior Vice President for Engineering and Security Affairs Engr. SM Supermalls commissioned different security agencies to ensure public safety whenever they would visit SM malls.

MARILAO, Bulacan – Security guards as well as the janitorial services of SM City Marilao and SM Center Valenzuela merge in the Joint Tactical Inspection held recently at the SM City Marilao’s parking lot expansion. This program is part of SM commitment to uplift the quality of service of all the security and janitorial services of both malls.

According to mall officials, more than 100 security personnel underwent the inspection at the SM Marilao’s Event Center. Refined by persistent practice, the participants were able to carry out their excellent quality of training.

Present to grace and inspect the security force’s performance is SM’s Senior Vice President for Engineering and Security Affairs Engr. Antolin Paule. Also present were Vice President for North Region Mr. Bien C. Mateo, Customer Relations Service (CRS) Division Manager Mr. Almus Alabe, CRS Regional Manager Mr. Edgardo Miranda, Regional Operation Manager for North Luzon 3 Mr. Emmanuel P. Navera Jr. and other heads of agencies.

Both malls are proud of their guards and janitorial service for the performance they showed during the inspection. According to Mall Manager Marie Bernadette Velasco as front liners of the mall they should be ready in whatever circumstances that may arise within the mall premises. She also encourage them give mall customers 100% satisfaction by providing them with quality service.

The aim of the General Assembly and Tactical Inspection is to motivate the security unit to be efficient as front liners of the mall. This annual affair is held to examine the participants’ compliance to the company’s standards which includes their gear, uniform, paraphernalia and their extensive readiness for customer service likewise.

  1. to sm marilao security: concerning sa inspection ng mga sasakyan. i think its VERY STUPID na pinapabuksan nyo pa ang trunk for inspection. DONT GET ME WRONG, hindi ako tutol sa inspection ng mga sasakyan pero sana you guys BE CONSISTENT naman. Kung papabuksan nyo ang trunk ng mga SEDAN(kotse na may puwitan) for inspection, sana pabuksan nyo din ang rear door ng mga INNOVA, ADVENTURE, VAN's at mga SUV's. As a regular customer of SM, i feel extremely INSULTED AND DISCRIMINATED tuwing papabuksan ang trunk ng kotse ko WHILE yung apat o limang sasakyan na nauna sa akin deretsyo lang. WALANG INSPECTION NG LOOB. palibhasa Toyota PRADO o kaya FORTUNER yung mga sasakyan nila. KUNG HINDI BA NAMAN DISCRIMINASYON YAN, MGA SER!!!!! Well, i hate to think na pakitang tao lang yung ginagawa ng mga tao nyo. kaya sana naman be CONSISTENT. kung magiinspect kayo, iinspect nyo BAWAT SASAKYAN, or else wag na kayo mag inspection. Dahil ang taong gustong magpasok ng BARIL o BOMBA sa SM, sa SUV o sa Van sasakay yan para hindi na iinspect.

  2. well said, anonymous. napansin ko din yon. kakainis nga yun no. mga motor at kotse lang kaya nilang iinspect. pero pag auv o suv papasok ng sm, kuha lang ng tiket wala ng inspection. takot kasi mga guard pagmalaki sasakyan. baka daw mga bigatin sakay. takot or bobo lang?
