41st National Marketing Conference 2010

The Philippine Marketing Association is organizing the 41st National Marketing Conference this June 24 and 25 at Sofitel Philippine Plaza, Pasay City.We all know that without marketing, your business doesn't exist. It is one of the most important factor in a successful business. If you think that blog and bloggers doesn't need any marketing, then you're wrong. How can you reach your targeted audience, if you're the only one reading your blog? That's why attending conferences like this one is a must not just to marketing people.

The Philippines is ranked 18 in the top 20 countries with the highest number of Internet users in the world as of 2009, this is one of the evidence why Philippines has a lot of potential when it comes to internet marketing.

Here are TOP 5 reason why me and you should attend the 41st National Marketing Conference 2010 sponsored by Search Profile Index:

1. Noynoy Aquino - not just because we share the same surname. LOL. If you're living under the rock these past few months, Noynoy is the newest Philippine president. I want to know his plans to our country, marketing-wise. Well, I hope he continues promoting Philippines as a tourist destination, with the right marketing and positive outlook I think we can do that. His topic is entitled "The Global Shakedown: From the West to the East to the Southeast in Hyper Speed"

2. GMA-7 - Liezel Maralag, the President & CEO of GMA Marketing & Productions, Inc. will also talk about "The CEO’S Agenda for Driving Growth Through Marketing." It is so interesting to know how they managed to rise to the top and maintain it's position as one of the top TV stations in our country.

3. SMART - Jojit Alcazar, the Head of Mobile Advertising at Smart Communications (The #1 telecommunication company in the Philippines) will also be present at this conference on the 24th and 25th. Who doesn't want to hear that? I really want to know how they market their products and services, that is embraced by the A, B, C, D and E bracket.

4. Y Market - The CEO of J Walter Thompson, Joselito B. Ortega will talk about "Trapping the Elusive Generation Y Market to Expand and Grow by". This is one of the topic that really got me interested. I really want to hear what are the modern tricks and techniques in marketing a certain business. Of course I don't want to be left behind.

5. ... and MORE - Marketing is such a vague topic (advertising, public relations, sales, and promotions) and attending this conference is one way to decipher the in and out of it.I want learn more on getting the product or service into the market, then promoting it, influencing behavior, and then encouraging sales. It will really help me kick start the business that I have in mind.
